Shop find
Considering selling or restoring these but wonder if the entry level vehicles are worth it?

Re: Shop find
"Worth it" is very subjective. Just in case you're heading down this path:

They're worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Is that amount greater than the cost to restore them? Who knows?
The trike is cool, I have a similar one that my parents brought home as a gift from a trip to Japan sometime around 1981. I've never seen another like it. I kept it because it's fully functional and looks nice in my display cabinet.

Re: Shop find
I was looking to dig into what it would take to replace the battery connectors and looking around online, makes me miss radio shack more. Not knowing much about these collectibles I am unsure where to look for specific pieces or if I would have to customize them.
My cousin had one of the 3 wheelers when we were kids, we had a blast with that thing. Got me excited for this but I need to do some work to get it up I think. Parts/labor - might be better off moving it to a home with someone who has more knowledge and time than I do.

Re: Shop find
That Lightning definitely looks familiar. The model, not that particular one of course. Very cool.

Re: Shop find
The three wheeler is made by shinsei. I had one as a kid and it was pretty cool.

Be careful that this post doesn’t turn into a for sale post.

Re: Shop find
The 3-wheeler is a Dust Runner. Over the years I've noticed how extremely popular they are on eBay. With controller they fetch over $100!
There's a market for the Monogram toy grade R/Cs, too.

Sort of like the Jet Hopper, Turbo Hopper
I wish I could find a white Niko Turbo Panther as I used to chase seagulls on the santa Santa Cruz Wharf before I got an RC10
