Re: XXT Bearing Question
Boca lists a xx kit, if nothing else you could use the bearing list to compare it to the xxx series

Re: XXT Bearing Question
Fast Eddie lists a kit as well.
I'm sure that Avid, Acer, TRB, or any of the bearing places can get you what you need. The bearing aren't anything special, they just might not have a "kit" listed.
To be honest, I don't think I've ever bought a complete "kit" for any of my cars.

Re: XXT Bearing Question
I think I only bought a kit once, and even then, I think it was overpriced compared to the price of just buying all the bearings you need in the sizes you need from any custom bearing retailer...there's lots on eBay. ID, OD and thickness, flanged or unflanged is all you need...other than what kind of bearing you want; steel, ceramic, etc.
When I restored a Marui Shogun, the car originally had some bushings installed where there should've been bearings, and I would've had to pay a ridiculous amount for "Marui Shogun" bearings. I just went to AliExpress and searched for the correct size and bought a bunch for a few bucks.

Re: XXT Bearing Question
Boca isn't well known in the RC world. While they do have some lower price options, that isn't what they are known for. But in applications that require high grade bearings, Boca is the standard that others are compared to.
Their orange seal ceramic hybrid bearings are frequently copied by offshore manufacturers.

Re: XXT Bearing Question
I’ve used Boca since the mid 90’s, back when they were spendy. I didn’t know anything else but NMB existed till China came in and started selling cheap bearings. Now I think all the companies have their $1 bearings as well as their premiums

Re: XXT Bearing Question
I like them in my baitcast reels. The hybrid bearings are a little noisy but they fly. Even when compared to other premium bearings, they are an upgrade.

Re: XXT Bearing Question
Having both XX and XXX trucks, I can confirm that the bearing kits are the same. A full kit will have 18 bearings. That will include the steering. If you need bearings for the Hydro Drive or ball diff, they are the same as front buggy (xx/xxx). Fast Eddy as has the flat thrust bearings found in the Hydro-Drive/Single slipper set up.
You may know me as Jessica. Or, that girl that raced a Stampede at SoCal Raceway. Maybe, that girl with the big big block El Camino.
