I’m curious if this relatively modern Rx will work with my old Futaba Magnum Jr. Tx.
As long as it is 75mhz, from the upper range of channel numbers. If it was turned for the lower range channels, it might be glitchy.
Yup, it works.
It came with an 84 but I didn't have the match so I tested it with 74 and everything works fine. It was a little fiddly getting the throttle servo sorted out (going the right direction, centered, end points set, etc.) but it's there now. I doubt that I will run it much with a MSC as they tend to be all or nothing but it's good to know that it works.
The truck needs steering bellcranks - the right one is broken and the left is cracked. I'll get those on order. While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and do that bearing upgrade you mentioned previously. The shock caps are leaking (the truck probably sat upside down in the box during transit) but otherwise it's in very good condition.
I'm very happy with it so far.

The bladders are probably dried out. Don't buy them separately, just buy two rebuild kits. They are cheap and the parts are good quality.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
Given that we're currently in lockdown for the SIXTH time, and now with added curfew, I haven't received anything in a LONG time..... have one package waiting at work for me, although no clue when I'll be able to get it.
Got these coming in the mail too.... shiny....

I'm amazed at how some sellers ship stuff. Occasionally I get a package that is well overpacked, like they really want the next owner to know how well cared for it's been. Or there's the new in box Novak Edge ESC that I got. They stuck an address label and postage directly on the Novak box and mailed it that way. One area of the box took some crush damage that luckily didn't have the ESC in the area. That chassis in a envelope with random trash for packing material s definitely ridiculous.

I've been on such a spending spree lately unfortunately...
A set of sealed bearings, two motor mounts, a set of metal gears and a 3-wire steering servo for my WLToys 144001.
A set of 3-hole 1/12 scale foam wheels/tires and some random diff parts for the RC12LW I'm trying to resurrect.
An inexpensive Spektrum SLT3 radio for my Bandit.
An RJ Speed Legends kit that I spent all of yesterday building. I'll probably make a separate thread about that. Let me just say if you're going to build one, do yourself a favor and invest in a 5-40 tap!
Ok admittedly I didn’t get it in the post but I did pick it up over the weekend and my mind is blown! 1rc killed it with their 1/18 late model. This thing is sick

I've been digging, doing some research, tapping into the past. On my journey I've Found some very interesting early posts by a lot of currant members here in the archives. Very interesting stuff! I encourage newer members to do the same, as the old...

Nope. I'm not clicking on any links in this thread because I know one of them is going to be Farmer's pic. :P
None of them were about that picture.
But now one of them refers to it.
But seeing how often it is mentioned in this thread, it sure...
Thanks to Hoopty for the design, and Mrlexan for the production. They look great. And Thanks again Jay for the body and wing to put them on, can't wait to get 'em dirty. :D

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...

since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
I built this today, its just a start, it was hard to get a picture of the whole track, unless I stood really far away... anyways more to come soon. its gonna be a lot of fun and was not too hard to do for just a few hours work! i made the rails out...

Big jumps and take some pictures of cars in action :D Looks amazing, I'd love a garden!
I thought I would start a thread having to do with cool/offbeat music. So your feeling a bit low, your dog has a bad case of fleas, it's raining outside, you can't run that awesome RC10 build because your missing 1 stupid part, nothing cool arrived...

I just picked up a few sort of new ones from work, Pink Floyd and AC/DC. The latest releases from both of them on CD.
