Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

I used to disconnect the wires to the resistor and connect them all together so I got full throttle as soon as the wiper hit the first contact , servo's were slow or at least the Acoms ones I had wereMarkyDents wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:09 pmYep more like an on/off switchjuicedcoupe wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 8:27 pm The resistors on mine almost never got hot. If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Thanks man. And thanks to all who entered and voted. I still think the BOTMC is one of the coolest things about this place (among the other s***loads of awesomeness). I have entered that jalopy a bunch and I'm pretty sure I got some votes just so folks would never have to see that abomination entered again.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

You got my vote because I really like that buggy. Its one of only a few Traxxas vehicles I'd like owning myself. Congrats on the W.

I like seeing the 4 pin Dean's motor connector on the TRX 1. It's good to see that I'm not the only dinosaur using them with brushed motors.
It would be really cool if Traxxas did a re-re of the TRX 1.

Yes it would. I brought it up over on their forums in the "ask Traxxas" thread.......crickets. I think they have no institutional memory or sense of nostalgia regarding any of their products. At least Associated and the Japan based companies have some form or sense of the above mentioned. This is just my opinion.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 10:32 am
