Thanks to Adam, Daryl’s son, I have one of the original Volvo wagons built for the ads.

Got some wheels and tires from JC Racing.
The wheels are for my Tamiya hybrid buggy.
I just wanted to try some of their tires. I really wanted the step pins but they were out of stock.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Picked up this from the post office a few weeks ago.
Free shipping so I couldn't resist since I couldn't find a set of front chrome xls rims to go with my rears.

I feel the need... for speed! (controls) I'd never had a KO Propo ESC and this seemed like a nice unit to have in my collection.
.
.
I also picked up 70 on/off slider switches for the crazy Amazon price of $7.

I've been digging, doing some research, tapping into the past. On my journey I've Found some very interesting early posts by a lot of currant members here in the archives. Very interesting stuff! I encourage newer members to do the same, as the old...

Nope. I'm not clicking on any links in this thread because I know one of them is going to be Farmer's pic. :P
None of them were about that picture.
But now one of them refers to it.

This seems to be a hugely popular thread on another forum out there, so let's see how it do here?!?
Simple, what did you do RC wise today? Pics or it didn't happen! Painted a body, rewired a ESC, mounted some wheels, finished a 3-year project...

This gearbox and diff are nice and smooth as is, just needs cosmetic cleanup. The extra friction discs will be ok spares for other builds.

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...
Last post
since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)

That reminds me of some lines in the movie Black Dog.
Well what if something jumps out into the road and you need to stop?
You don't.
What was that?
...A Mazda.

I thought I would start a thread having to do with cool/offbeat music. So your feeling a bit low, your dog has a bad case of fleas, it's raining outside, you can't run that awesome RC10 build because your missing 1 stupid part, nothing cool arrived...

I just picked up a few sort of new ones from work, Pink Floyd and AC/DC. The latest releases from both of them on CD.
Might want to check this very popular thread.
