If I had to guess as to why they're so rare, I'd say it was because they were really expensive compared to the Eliminator, 10L, Cobra, and even the Lynx. Even the graphite options from Associated or Bolink were cheaper than the Pro-10.
That and as I was going through the RCCAs of the time, I never saw Viper listed in the race results.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

That is a car not seen often. Very pricey back then. I don't recall seeing any magazine reviews of it either. I like the quick change aspect of it. Very neat!
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.

Everyone I seem to find is 75mhz
Those in particular?
27mhz Futaba?
Or just 27mhz transmitters?
I have several nice 27mhz AM Airtronics and JR transmitters. The nice thing is that nearly all hobby grade 27mhz is compatible across brands. Just avoid Xmods transmitters, but the crystals still work.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
Specifically the futaba megatec jr with 2 dials. I have a new build procat from back in the day with all futaba radio gear but the radio got stolen years ago with another buggy
