The topic of a gold tub 10T came up years ago, and most (including myself) always thought there was only a black tub/nose/motor plate. This Japanese 7011 Sport kit appears to have the gold parts. I asked the seller for pics of the nose since the other two parts aren't rare.
If you have B/S/T access this is also being discussed in the eBay forum.
Mikea96’s got it posted in the eBay forum as well.
Very surprising too see this really might have existed after all the back and forth over the years about the subject.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out
theres been a pretty decent discussion in the b/s/t area and figured like stated above that not everyone has access to that area so dropped all the auctions pictures in here to preserve what it was and hope Jeff buys it so he can document and build it.

Peace and professionlism.....Kabunga signing off!!!
Still for sale... 1,999.99... plus shipping, of course, lol
Though, am I the only one who saw this and though it was... suspect? Like it was a black tub kit that they refinished? Awfully thick and dark gold color, Like spray paint, maybe wrong color ano. Big gash down the underside of the tub.... but with no corosponding raw aluminum... like the scratch is under the gold. Things just don't seem... kosher...

The overall group seems to believe that this is legitimate. When it comes to that kind of collecting I have no idea how much NIP kits are worth. That said noone seems to think that it's worth what is being asked, even if it's one a few gold tub 10t's ever spotted.
Hi all, I recently re-discovered an original RC10T kit that my uncle put together in the early 90`s. He assembled it and thats as far as he got, never ran it, never installed electronics. The kit # is 7011(if I remember correctly). Problem is though...
Hi, I need info on what would have been correct servo mounts for a #7011 RC10T. Would they have used the white 6336 mounts or a black version or tape, don't think it would be the tape, because my kit has the mechanical speed controller. Thank you...

It's up to your preference, but they generally were the same color as the rest of the parts
There were some transition where some parts were white and black but I don't know if the trucks were affected as much as the buggies
My latest addition to the family. Sweet rolling chassis and white parts acquired from KvilleKrawler,Body and wing from Atlas, and the alloy rims from GMC572.Real happy with it.Looks great on my shelf.Got a new unpainted body with it.Gonna have to...

that is one sweet tub....i wish i could find one like that....please don't bring it within 100 yards of dirt or concrete.
Hello, this is my gold RC10. I bought it used but in very good shape, I only buy a few parts to get it as nice as possible without spending too much money.
I know it's not the perfect one, but I really like it.

The original 6010 RC10 looks like that, but mine is not very original :the chassis is a later C version (brighter yellow color and drilled for the stealth tranny) and a few parts are from a Championship edition.
I won this on E-bay a couple of weeks ago. Even though the seller claimed it had a stealth trans you could tell by the fuzzy pics that it didn't. I got it for a decent price so that didn't bother me. I would like some help identifying the body...
I had a nutty idea to use a nitro DS gearbox and convert one of my runners to 4WD, very similar to the elusive MIP conversion. I used 834-b C-hubs and Yokomo wheel adapters with Tamiya knuckles, axles and carriers. Everything seems to be working...

Nice work.. I'll be watching this build with great interest..
In regard to the problem you have with the imperial idler shaft, and metric sprockets..
How would you go enlarging the bearing holes in the tranny case to accept 5x10mm bearings, then...
hey guys,i plan on restoring a gold tub soon and putting the brushless motor from my Firestorm in.the motor and esc are mad by castle creations for hpi.will the rc10 trans hold up to the power?its not the most powerful combo, but i would just like to...

And the 6 gear? ;)
I just got a mild brushless setup and was going to try it in my 6 gear. It has the modern black idlers and full bearings, so I was thinking it would be fine if I dialed out some of the punch.
Any thoughts on that?
