Nobody has yet mentioned how weird those look without a driver doll. Of all the car models that would seem to require one...it's THIS.
I'm not sure what looks dumber actually driving around...a modern cab-forward body that looks nothing like a real car, or an open cockpit vintage car model sans driver.

they both look dumb, but cab-forward is the undisputed heavyweight world champion of looking dumb.
WW1 fighter pilot figures are readily available to serve as driver of the 20s sprint car. Nothing fixes cab-forward.

Sliding the cage foreward didn't do much. its still tight fit. the other problem was the width. I spaced out the cage then dipped sections in boiling water to soften plastic to widen out her back side :wink: . now the motor will sit down and not...

Gary was a very probable source for these BITD- he's cheap and easy to.work with too. I can promise a CW shell won't work, but i'd be glad to photo one and give you measurements though

Hey Mike I think I put you wrong on that body...just got a Ascot and the bonnet is shorter but the other McAllister body fits...I think you want the Gambler..
