Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
The seller made me an offer I couldn't refuse on this XL-2. It needed the rx wires connector de-sketchified, but afterward turned out to be a decent little unit. The only rear issue is that the neutral adjuster is missing the top part for turning with a screw driver. I have it zeroed now, but might repair that if I come across the part it needs in the future.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This gigantic early model Novak receiver dropped to a price where it wouldn't be much of a loss if it didn't still work. Now I need to get a 27mhz radio setup in running order and some Fut G adapters to check it out.
. . .
Thankfully someone has lightly scratched on the case where the steering and throttle connections go.
. .
I wonder if this originally had a top case decal. I didn't know this model existed until recently.

Few recent buys. Don't know anything about the Yokomo SCR6712 esc, but it looks cool and I never had a Yokomo esc until now.

A lot of prints arrived today for one specific project and validation of the possibility to do print resins for a nice bodyshell... (details later on in the respective threads / not everything on the pic arrived today, the black bodyshell was printed at home)
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them

RUBRIX hooking me up again and allowing me to take another step in my Masami 879 tribute. This was to fix the hubs, normal 870 ones were way to fat but looking at pictures, the 93 units are much closer in size.(p.s. body is a placeholder, painted version just received, working up the nerve to cut/trim it)
I come for the RC10's but stay for the Yokomo's

Not received in the post but near enough.
After 25yrs I have been reunited with my old bodyshell. Only on loan but still, very please to have her back. Now to get on spraying a copy of it.

Some oldies came my way. Excellent functional Bantam / Ace midget and micro servos, and a really cool Novak NEC-1 charger packaged in an ESC size case.
