Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
Previous waffle winners need to have their name drawn twice to win. Just a suggested rule addition

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
I honestly own both Belgian and "traditional" (American?) waffle makers, as I honestly switch back and forth on which I crave, and brinner happens in this house at least once a week.
At one point in time, I owned a double waffle maker, which was good, but not great. You gotta be quick in waffle prep as they cool down quickly.
Since this is a game of skill, and not luck like, with say, a raffle ............. my strategy is to donate some at the beginning of the month, and some at the end of the month. I feel this is the strong play.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
This is the Guinness World Record for largest waffle, and I am even more disappointed in humanity than I was. I mean, 8' ???
Two people are moving this thing around with a cardboard roll!
To compare, the world's largest pancake is 49' !!!
This thing required cranes!!!

Neither of those look very appetizing. I think I'll stick with normal sized waffles.morrisey0 wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 4:48 pm This is the Guinness World Record for largest waffle, and I am even more disappointed in humanity than I was. Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **
Well that's odd.
We've gotten donations from all over the world, and this is the first time I've seen that. I'll have to look into it a bit more after I wake up. It's 7:38am here, and I'm on my way to bed.
EDIT: Found some info that states New Zealand only allows donations to non-profits registered with the government there.

I was going to send him a PM offering that as a solution, but I was way too sleepy. I'm up now though.
So yeah, from what I can find, some countries either don't allow making donations to anything not registered with their governments, or they don't allow donations to be made through PayPal. Who knew?

I am guessing there is actually good intentions behind this, even if it comes across as too big brother. My first thought is senior citizen protection. I am thinking it isn't too difficult to prove legitimacy and get whitelisted, but obviously not for this such occasion.
And just a bump for waffle!
