....a complete rere GT body set for a vintage black pan that I am restoring. These nitro trucks aren't difficult, but are a pain to clean.

Finally found a reasonably priced stealth transmission. It needs a new bearing or two and smells of cigarettes, but that's nothing I can't take care of. Plus I'll probably be dying it black to use for my Tamiya Astute. I'll modify a 6-gear motorplate to use with it.

Did you find some longer axles for the astute? I found the db01 axles work well with a stealth on the king cab, and I'm pretty sure they are on the same arms.

I'm not sure what size I need yet. I need to make a bracket to mount the stealth first and then I'll measure for new bogbones. I'd imagine it'd be the same as the king cab, although my Astute still retains the stupid adjustable rear hubs.

We used to sell an adapter plate to put a lethal weapon on the astute. If you get stuck let me know and I should be able to reverse it to a 6 gear using the one set of holes that lined up, then add the stealth holes from the adapter plate to get the correct layout. It's like a 5 minute task to lay it out.

I see the king cab adapter on your website, but if there's an astute one I don't seem to have the patience to find it at the moment. The astute and king cab require different provisions despite being similar. I also already have a sheet of carbon fiber on order to make my own. Not sure how big it is, but I'm going to make the entire chassis new in carbon if I can.

We haven't sold the astute set in years so I don't have the adapter plate listed, but we have em. Still, it sounds like you have it under control 8)

It's not often that I get a large batch of motors that I like all of them, but today is one of those days.

My only disappointment is that the Checkpoint isn't a modified. But it's only a small disappointment.
