What is it now Team Associated?!

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Now I'm even more confused. No idea why 2 versions of the same thing exist. You can always shave the bumps off though.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

I'm just going to go with the same analogy that I use at work.

When someone says "that doesn't make sense", I tell them that "we don't make that here". We make a lot of things, sense isn't one of them.

Probably a "running change". Someone found an issue that could be fixed with a small mold revision that didn't appear to cause backward compatibility issues, so they made the change and it started on the next batch they ordered.

As shown in these pics, the initial run of bellcranks, like the ball cups, the parts were not on trees like the originals. Then in 2015 or so, a 2nd wave of cups came through. They were no longer green, and they were identical to the full hex OG ones on the tree. The bellcranks R16 just posted are like the OG style but obviously from the rere era. I wonder if they still had a few of the original molds at the time and pulled more off of them?

Is that deal only for the club members? I'm still seeing it listed for $118.

FB post today by Team Associated seems to heavily imply that a Stealth Car release is near.
Guessing this will be the first of the Vintage releases to top $500, probably more

Hmm and no laser etching. Do i decide to buy one of these and do my own kinwalds cuts to be more accurate and have a spare nose for my 10T?

'89? '91? If they keep the IFMAR Champs thing going, won't they have to do both!!?? I honestly don't know how I feel about it. All the work that went into the "privateer" replicas of both. Now BOOM, "big corporate" is gonna come in and drop the "official" version(s). Shrug.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

I've so far resisted purchasing any of the rere's. But this is something that has crossed my mind. If you are really doing a Kinwald, the hologram sticker and the laser etching would have to go. But then all the cuts..... :x

Something Scr8p covered in the YouTube overview of the Kinwald mods: the tail bend and motor guard one screw tap and keeping the cut angle continuity. That might be a detail that would require a fresh chassis/motor plate.
Hope you're doin' something fun.
