XX-4 Worlds edition?
XX-4 Worlds edition?
Just wondering if any one can tell me the difference between the normal XX-4 and the worlds edition? Are there other versions as well?

Re: XX-4 Worlds edition?
From memory, Worlds edition features over standard kit:
1) Hot weather shell with more scoops (although you'd hardly notice)
2) Graphite parts instead of standard plastic
3) Worlds edition chassis with cut out slots to lower batteries
4) New rear hubs & pivot blocks with outboard toe-in, not inboard
5) Titanium turnbuckles
6) Low C of G. motor mount
7) New design front & rr shock towers with extra bracing
8 ) Threaded shock bodies with nitrided shock shafts
9) Upgraded belts - blue colour instead of black
10) Disc wheels instead of spoked
Might be more than that but can't remember at the moment.

Damn, really?? After reading that article I want one! And to think I passed on up on eBay that went for 130$ and it was in beautiful condition.

Re: XX-4 Worlds edition?
You can still piece a xx-4 worlds car together with all the parts that are still available. There are some nice mods available as well with the X-5 still hanging around! The problem with the Trinity aluminum parts is the cost factor. That and if and when you find them, they can cost you more than a whole decent runner.
