I've seen the Toyan engines but not that one. Probably the same engine just branded differently. Are you going to run it?
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Just a rebrand of the same from my understanding. Definitely the most entry level of their designs on a 2 cyl. It will be ran at some point, need to decide between the ease but cost of glow fuel or the expense (for the ignition system) and simplicity of gasoline.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not all today, but this has been a little before/after work project this week.
I bought this Blackfoot on Ebay, which looked pretty good in the pictures. It turned out to need nearly every part that is known for breaking on them.
After a lot of new parts and a few mods, its starting to look like something presentable.
Since I already have a re-re Blackfoot, I'm thinking about something different. I'm using Stadium Blitzer wheels as thinking about the King Cab body.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
It's the 4790R. I think it's just a different compound. They were listed as an option in many Traxxas manuals.
Amain usually has them in stock. I've been buying them for the rear on several of my trucks (can't beat the price). I used them on the front of another one, just switched to a stiffer insert.
Oddly enough, they are listed as a buggy tire. I notified Amain and they responded but never changed the listing.

Thanx for the info. Tired of looking at ebay fishing trips and the LHS had an issue with traxxas before they finally shut the doors.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:36 am Amain usually has them in stock.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Started cleaning parts for the next two FXT trucks. One of the trans gears has a couple missing teeth, so good thing I bought a gear set a while back when I seen it for sale.
Also found the right length shock bodies as replacements for the factory set of FXT shocks I'm giving to a fellow forum member. Remaining needed shock parts I already have in the parts stash.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Local guy wanted this stuff gone...hope I didn't get hurt financially....the Enforcer has never been ran or finished, one of the rc10 sprint cars is an vintage RBS conversion, not sure on the other one...a Bolink Sprinter with a cherry Novak esc...and a Trinity on road racer that's been highly modified but not ran into an oval car....not sure yet what I am gonna do with it all...Like to restore the RBS sprint car, keep that original Stealth tranny, Novak esc, that new Trinity motor, and that JR servo....prolly more the rest along
After further investigation...this car, RCL4 Oval
Won this event by Sean Cochran from Team Associated...kind of a big deal...ain't getting rid of it...nope

That's quite a haul!
And if he wanted it gone the price should have been right
