I like your picture quality! I also like that you are using vintage electronics, they look at home there!
How smooth/free rolling was the tranny? In all the builds here, not one mention of the tranny!

Mine had the RCCA tranny make-over and it spins quite allot better than my friends with bushings
I guess it will free up a bit when we finally drive it

Re: THE H.P FREAK's RC10 'Classic' build
I don't think so, I see that odd crimp in every picture in exactly the same place...top AND bottom. It doesn't even look like a straight edge in the close-up bottom picture. Is this how all the re-re pans look? (Click to see the images at proper size.)THE H.P FREAK wrote:HI!... Its just the shadow and the camera angle.

The die that's used when making the chassis goes all the way out to the end of the bulkhead mount
and after that the extra material is removed

Were they also like that back in the 80's? I don't seem to recall ever seeing gold pans with that kind of deformation...on here or eBay or otherwise. Maybe I haven't been looking close enough.

Re: THE H.P FREAK's RC10 'Classic' build
HI!... Well I finally got the driver painted. Did one for the "classic" and another for another RC10 I'm working on.
This one is 100% complete now.
