I would think about a hinge-pin-brace type piece running between the front camber link mounts, right behind the ball ends. It may be pretty easy to torque those (very clever) extended ball ends out of whack otherwise. Just a thought.
I see McMaster Carr's MXL and XL timing belt pulleys are cheap enough (<$10) that you could buy a couple that may not fit, but would be a jumping off point for ol' Seabass...
The brace is already in the works, I am fighting my inability to cut a straight line by hand lol! The pin router is awesome for template stuff but terrible for freehand
The pullies from McMaster Carr don't look too bad but spd has a nice selection too, I just need to sit down and figure out what I want.

Pretty much, it's a matter of modifying the kickup and making a front tower, the rest is dremel and xacto
That said, towers and front kickups may get made in small quantities

The car looks really good. If I can get my machine up and running, I have a way to make some really nice pulleys. I just got to get the rest of the machine done, it is super close too.

Hi Jeff,
please count me a set if you are going to make them for sale.....
Will do, although there are a few steps to go until I will be ready to mass produce lol!

That would be a very expensive way to go, McMaster Carr and sdp are better sources once I sit down and determine size

I have decided that I am in the minority on staying era correct. I have decided to remain AE loyal however and will try to graft the B44 front knuckles and carriers to the stock wide clip. So far it's not too far off, just slightly narrow (maybe get...
I haven't posted the full build here as didn't want to distract from the true geniuses behind the concept of using a front Stealth gearbox to make a 4wd converted RC10. Jeff and Mini.
Anyway, I've made my own version using Optima Mid front arms,...

How is the car coming along? I was able to build up a similiar style car with a few changes to the front support for the shocks. I took it to my local track and I handled better than I could have hoped. Thank you for your posts and information. I...

The Rc-X2 conversion was from Bullet Racing. It was a graphite chassis that used the RC10 front end with the JRX2 rear end. The logic, and keep in mind that this was before the stealth came out, was that the JRX gearbox was cheaper to buy than the...
Hey guys, I finally finished this car! I wanted to give it my custom flavor, but keep it as correct as possible, and come up with a '80's era paint scheme, I think I pulled it off nicely...
replaced all the black hardware and the turnbuckle...

Glad it arrived safely!
I can do another body exactly (or better) like that one if you are interested, just let me know.
I can also do just about any other paint scheme you may be interested in.
P.S. keep a lookout for my next Edinger in a few...
EDIT: See thread here for complete listing of Ten4 parts and where to buy them
Thought I would start a new thread on this, outside my Tuning Options thread, since it's going to be a pretty big project.
Jeff (GoMachV) and I are taking this on...
Have a few little things to replace and wrap up (like powdercoating the engine mount). I've had the powdercoated chassis sitting around for ages and finally decided to put it to good use. Haven't decided on the wheels yet. Don't like the plastic MIP...

WOW!! I'm impressed. The MIP 4wd conversions where hard to get new!! I guess you guys never got rid of anything, huh?
Hi
After a long layoff, I'm working on my MIP 4WD conversion. So far I have both front and rear gearboxes and the cable installed. I had to bend the front chassis braces, and now it looks like I will need to add spacers to join them to the front...
