Which radio for rc10 B3, period correct?

Post by flipwils11 »

I need to find a radio to complete my blue rc10 b3 shelfer and I'd like it to be period correct, which by my figuring should be late 90's? I have a blue LRP receiver (FM) so I need something compatible.

I've never had a KO Propo anything and thought the EX-1 Mars was pretty cool looking (regular or the "R" version) but I don't know what years they were offered. Any opinions on that choice, or other suggestions?

Found this post from 2002 and it sounds like the Mars was under consideration for purchasing new. The factory team b3 came out in 2000 so this seems about right then to get this radio and have it be era correct?

As you can see, I got an EX1 mars, on my manual it's written 1996/1997.
it seems to be the good period for your B3
It's a pretty good Tx, no need to get another since that time.
