Thought you'd prefer this as oppose to the links.

Chassis looks in great shape. even the original tires look good. Is that an original 6-gear tranny? Any idea on what body you wish to use on her yet?

Tires are good but the glue job is crap. Im gonna use the 71 trans am protoform body. It has a rpm tranny but the top shaft is real long ive never seen this setup before. I have a few rpm trans already in the 2.65 to 1 ratio. I have a rebuilt og stealth im gonna install.

Thanks for posting the pic's for me. The tires would be good for a runner I have a new bolink body in the package for my shelfer ds. I may sell the orange body and tires.

Picked up some ntc3 turnbuckles realized I will have to shorten rpm ball cups slightly to use them on the camber links on the frint for sure.

Is there a reason the ds has the 10t steering setup? I got a worlds car setup and a servo saver to swap out. My chassis and towers shipped from carbon works today!

Only thing left I need is some cvds for the rear and some spares maybe front arms and mounts. Im guessing cvds arent easy to come by is there a conversion I can do maybe tc3 to ds in the rear? Sorry for so many?

You might be able to rescue those tires. Put a small amount of acetone in a margarine or yogurt container, then place the container and your wheels & tires in a plastic bag, then seal the bag. You're not putting them IN the acetone, just beside the container. The acetone fumes should break down the CA cement. Take them out of the bag in 24 hours and see if the tires will pull off the wheels.

there's nothing really wrong with the bones for the DS. Unless you really want universals. The DS didn't have factory CVD's, just universals. It's likely MIP made cvd's for them, probably very hard to find. you are on the right path, tc3 parts might work, but it will be trial and error. I would investigate HPI parts also, maybe even yokomo yr4 parts. you would have to see what the bone length that is needed and go from there. the axle would be no problem, if the axle ends up metric, just use the hub and axle and bearings in one shot, may have to drill the hinge pin to 1/8"

Made some good progress today swapped out the pan with a scratched one since it's a runner.
Was gonna use the carbon works cf chassis decided to use it on another car.
Replaced the rpm trans with a fresh stealth with b4 top shaft
Cleaned up the parts im reusing. Installed the b4 front setup for the 12mm hex. The shocks looked super nice no leaks I'm gonna put some fresh 30wt.
Should have towers tomorrow. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af158/alkyt4/20141002_143855.jpg
