just won this off ebay looks homemade/a prototype?? got it from nick lance which his dad is vernon lance. i was told he raced with bud bartos and two guys named dave and jim back in the day. just sent off a email to bud through his site with the info and a pic. hope to have more info on this car soon.

It's a LazerLite Shadow with a weird chassis. Looks like they had a quick change battery setup on it at one time

I have one too, but it's the chain drive version :wink:

Looks more like a replacement chassis. The fiberglass reminds me of the PC board stuff you can get at Radio Shack.

i took a shot with this car didnt pay that much hope it turns out to be something special if not than ill sell it for what i paid for it.

wel bud doesnt remember the car but i did here back from the seller.

(I will try to get more info . He did say they built 4-5 of them the same way. I will get more info when i go over there)

got the car today i think ill keep her for now very nice shape and is different. added bonus came with a novak speed control and a motor :) took a close up of the chassis. looks like fiberglass to me just a different kind.
