Six Gear 48p Spur Gear
Will this Robinson Racing spur work on a six gear? The diff ball holes are different to the #6634 spur.

Re: Six Gear 48p Spur Gear
It appears compatible, it would be strange of them to alter the ability for it to work since that pattern has been used since the 80’s on pan cars. The amount of ball holes does change with some manufacturers. What is the part number of that gear?

While I'm pretty sure that gear should fit I don't think they are as strong as a nylon gear and might be a little noisier due to the material they are made out of.

And I believe that they are thinner as well. Six gears already have noticeable spur wobble, this seems like it would be worse.
I use the standard Kimbrough/Associated spur gears on all of mine. Kimbrough 146 or AE 6693, same gear.

Re: Six Gear 48p Spur Gear
I agree on the Kimbrough gears and that’s what I prefer but in answering his question the 1981 fits standard pan cars so it will fit the 6 gear. Wether it’s the best choice… not in my opinion but yes it will fit.

Re: Six Gear 48p Spur Gear
I managed to find an 87T spur in my Yokomo parts box.
Then I ran into this.
So I've ordered an 81T spur.
