I saw the video. it was leaked/accidentally released for a few minutes. I should have captured it as I watched it. It was taken down a few minutes later.
It looks pretty cool. It's belt drive. It's got a 3 piece molded tub chassis, almost divided into thirds. (front middle back)
There are almost no screws on the underside. Most stuff attaches from the top side.
I think the front/rear arms are interchangeable.
I don't remember much else it said. It looks nice though. I'm not sure if they made the switch to metric like TLR's 22, but that would be great if they did.

See the tiny body posts inside the chassis? Looks like there will be some sort of tray/lid under the body to keep the dirt out.

I noticed that, I guess when you're late to the party you can put those kind of things into the design.

Looks good, but I hope they made the belt drive beefy. Newbs that don't know the finer points of adjusting belt drives will be tearing that up with the giant motors they are using.

Looks like 2s only, the traxxas fanboys will have a field day with that one.

Nice fresh ideas there! I really don't care much for the SC thing, but all the local Pro's are going to them instead of the Mod truck and Buggy classes so I may just have to get used to them-

I hate to admit it, but it looks really good- I just wish it was the B-T/5

kinda reminds me of a mid-motor MIP 4wd rc10.

also looks busy, lots of nooks and crannies for gunk to hide in. unless these short course trucks don't really get dirty on the tracks they run on nowdays?

I would have liked to seen a B44 converted type truck. Of course, having this design means more parts I can use to build hybrid frankenstein type things.....

I have held out on the SC class as well but I may have to get one of those.

That's a really interesting design. First thing that came to mind as jwscab mentioned is that the drivetrain layout reminds me of the MIP 4x4 belt conversion with the pulleys on the outside of 2 gearboxes.
Anybody want to buy my never-run sc-10 2wd?

looks very modular. I wonder if they have any plans on a nitro version. It looks like swapping out the center chassis pod along with maybe a longer belt and a raised up rear end of the belt tunnel would make for a nitro version with the rest of the truck staying the same.

Well, they started with a clean sheet of paper...and (mechanically, anyway) re-created the Optima Mid Truggy. 13mm shocks, 12mm hex drives, metric hardware, belt-driven 4WD...with an enclosed receiver box & removable ESC tray.

Sorry guys, but other than the modular frame, I don't see a "game changer" here...
