Stinger 6.09 ci V8 engine

Post by flipwils11 »

This is really cool, a functioning, tiny v8 engine. They had a writeup about it in the latest Car and Driver magazine.

He's been around since the '80s or even longer.

The stinger 609 engine spawned from what's left of the castings he had from his Chrysler Viper V10 engine.

Sad story about what happened at the foundry. He used to advertise the 427 in RCCA during the 90's. Personally I liked the look of the 427 better as the 609 is pretty modern looking. Regardless he is still an extremely skilled craftsman.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !
