Re: Losi XX CR return
Another thumbs up for a very clean car & a superb XXT Box-art-esque' paint job!
Have fun running it & let us know how it goes, I really enjoyed running my XX last year!

Re: Losi XX CR return
I can already speak on how it goes at my local track (dirt + astro).
I ran with my XX about 4 times there and it goes very well, easy to drive, better on jumps and fast parts than in the tricky ones.
No big troubles after 8-9 batteries just a front bulkhead, front bumper and gear cover broken ( all originals, so not a big surprise) motor brushes also given up ( probably due to lipos)
At the end, only a couple of seconds slowest than my actual 2wd (thank's to the brushless combo )
So for me ( not a top driver) the xx cr stay a good runner, just a little more steering needed to be really competitive .

Re: Losi XX CR return
The XX series are so easy and fun to drive, the lot of them.
A young guy took out the South Island off road champs with a XX last year,if I remember right!

Re: Losi XX CR return
While i prepared my XXcr for vintage meeting to come at my local RC club, i take the opportunity to take some new pics of it.
the all Novak electronic set-up.
a closer view of the smart/stop lipo device.
the new RPM front bumper and a blue anodized front brace (fit nicer with the rear one)
the MIP cvd's
and a last one as i will show it, with front LOSI 7201gold and rear LOSI micro-pin red.
I also changed brushes and clean the collector of the dirtynator 12x2 for this event.
It's definitly really pleasent to work on that car.
thank's for watching.

Re: Losi XX CR return
The XX and XXT and my favorites, nice job!
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Wow thats a beauty example i wish i could find one of those trans. Braces for my xx ke then maybe i would run it a little more often. Too scared to ruin the trans case those things are hard to find!!!

Sabulatech has some 3d printed trans braces on their site as well as a few other goodies and I'm sure more coming as well!

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
