22-4 <<<>>> XX4 Parts interchange?

So, there an influx of newly listed parts for 22-4 buggies on ebay. I noticed LOSA3206 is popping up,, where as just a day ago,, only tough racing had an equivelent. Are we to assume that losa3206 is shared between old and new!?

nope all belts are longer, i have both and have had a xx4 for along time and i seriously doubt there would be a single part that would swap over and given that the new parts are far better in every way why would you want to

That would be pretty lousy (pun intended) if they reused a belt part number for a new belt that is a different size.

The 22 platform uses metric hardware for starters. I bought some of the black rubber bungs hoping they might replace the nasty yellow ones on the xx4, but they don't fit either.

HMMM, I wonder why losi horizon is re issuing the front side belts.... Still a no go on the rear belts though.

...but did those pieces have the old part number? I just have a hard time believing they would recycle a part number with a incompatible part

Far as I can tell, its just the old part. green front side belt 4wd. So, a deliberate reissue, or blowout of old stock? Losa3207 is also popping up. Black front side belt street weapon.

Hi Guys,
I just spoke with our engineers and confirmed that nothing is interchangeable with the XX4....ok maybe a couple bearings, body clips?.... it's all different.

Wishful thinking is all,, oh well. It just seemed odd that xx4 belts were unobtanium for a while, and now every ebay hobby shop has the front sides. Can we have some rear belts for both street weapon and xx4 then?,, and perhaps some re pops of some molded parts? Bodies, stickers.... The best buggy ever made needs current support!

Both of the side belts have been available all the while. Only the rear belts were officially dis-continued for the XX4 & Street Weapon.

Really? Hmf! Guess just like any other item they go in and out of stock. Seems like for a while though, I couldnt find them anywhere.

I think I now understand.....A-3206 isn't a part number for a current belt for this 22-4. I read too much into the question I guess!
