Nothing received yet but the tracking is entertaining.

The package left Federal way WA by Fex Ex.. My town is about 240 miles SE of there..

Does it come my way? no.. It went 140 miles south to Portland, OR where Fedex gave it over to USPS.

USPS trucks it 350 NE (passing through my town on the way) to the hub in Spokane.
From there it will be trucked 120 miles back to my town for delivery.

My car will travel 610 miles to get here.

Doesn't this unnecessary shipping routing make you think of taxi drivers who take the longest route they can come up with, to unfairly increase the fare?

Dont forget, lovely UPS has now changed all billing to Dim/Weight...walk ups (non-commercial accounts) are dragged through the fields now for packages...
