RC12LC, 12L3, 12L4 chassis question
Does anyone know (or can anyone find out) if the mounting holes on the RC12LC, RC12L3 or RC12L4 are the same? The 12L3 uses a lot of the same parts as the 12LC but switched over to the 3-hole wheel mounts. The chassis cutouts are unique to the 12L3 chassis. However, in photos, the chassis attachment holes seem to be alike. It is impossible to tell from different pictures though. The same appears to be true of the 12L4 - again except for the cutouts being different. While I have a 12L4, I don't have a 12L3 or 12LC chassis to lay on top to check. Can anyone help?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

I found this thread helpful when I restored & modernized my RC12L3:

You might also PM RC10th, he has a lot of expertise with these. That's what I did.

Well, I was able to get a 12LC chassis and when I get it, I will try to answer my own question and will post it here.

Re: RC12LC, 12L3, 12L4 chassis question (answered)
Okay, I was able to answer my own question. The holes in the chassis for all 3 models are identical except for the ones for the steering servo. On the 12l3 and 12l4, they are about 1/16 closer together than on the 12lc. So, a 12l3 chassis could be used as a replacement for a 12lc...if you couldn' find a 12lc chassis.
