Now some detail pics!
I'm using a Savox 1251MG servo, which I bought direct with a 30 percent discount from Savox. Hint: If your not on there email list get on it! Avid servo mounts with my own custom servo mounting alum. washers do the trick here. RC10 Worlds re-re bell cranks with Avid bearings make the steering smooth. I made my own nose brace tubes and mounted them with some red Factory Works hardware. Avid B6 shock mounts are used as I'm going to be installing B6D big bore shocks. I got the shocks (new) from one of the eBay "chop shops" for less than 40 bucks. The front shock tower is from Factory Works. I had to remove about 0.030" from the inside, my nose brace tubes were rubbing. No fault on
@GoMachV, my custom stuff required an adjustment to his specs. The front arm mounts were dyed with Rit Dyemore Graphite (3 hours in the pot).
I'm using the former wing tube location holes as one of the anchor points for the tube cage. I Drilled and tapped for a 4-40 x 1/8" grub screw on the cut down sides. Don't mind the long lengths on the bent tubes coming from the bulkhead forward. Lots of precise bending still to do there.
That gets us going for now. I just rcvd the rear big bore shocks this morning!
