5 hour round trip need some info on what ive got here
ok
just drove 5 hours round trip and bought this bunch out of the back of a 80 Ferrari (wanted to take pics but didn't want to be that guy ) lot filled its trunk and the passenger seat lol
listing popped up on Craig's list for 500$ (I didn't pay that )
and looked like an interesting bunch , so I bit
I know the rc10 and 10t
what I thought from his pic was a losi jrx was actually a trx1
everything els I have no idea
the silver chassis one says losi
warning lots of pics

Nice score! I live for finding collections like this. There is nothing better than digging through boxes of parts looking for that treasure that lurks somewhere about. Looks like you have some circle track stuff there. The car above the rc10 with the white proline bumper is a variation of the RC10L possibly an ss or an so. The buggy with yellow hpi front wheels and white rears is a Losi Jrx? The one that has my attention is the one with the white cage. Some kind of sprint car I don't recognize maybe.

that one, and the chassis in the pic under the gold pan (novak sticker on it) look like the same setup
are they a belt drive trans
in one of the boxes is a ton of belts , to small to be for a 4wd setup
the one under the gold pan actually has associated front and rear arm mounts on it ,and the arms look like rc10 but beefier

That chassis looks like it was a Rayborn RC10 oval chassis that's been hacked/narrowed and had a Reflex trans mounted to it. The arms, and slider drive shafts on the back also look to be Rayborn parts...the fronts are Traxxas Bullet arms. The Reflex trans is a direct drive.discgolfer72 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 7:02 pmthat one, and the chassis in the pic under the gold pan (novak sticker on it) look like the same setup

The pan car on top of that chassis is a Hyperdrive H10RS and the other Pan car is a Cobra LTOOR

Re: 5 hour round trip need some info on what ive got here
ended up with 2 sets of rc10t narrow fronts (dyed set on the 10t, and white set in tire box)
down side is bot sets have the rubber ridge cut off on the inside edge
on a side note anyone know the proper hardware size to attacht the rear wheels to the pan car in the background

for giggles I threw one of the old nicads on a charger
and it actually took a charge
gotta love the old school discharge tool that came in the lot
lit the bulbs for around 3 mins not bad
I might be able to bring a few of them back to life lol (at least once lol)

Re: 5 hour round trip need some info on what ive got here
going a bit post happy here lol
but
not a bad pile of ol tires
just one rear short for a full rc10 t white set with narrow fronts (ugggggg)
lots of good vintage losi tires and rims
as expected all the foams are dry rotted and either cracked /chunked , or so hard they are like rocks
big problem is my spare tire bin is full guess its a good time to start another one lol

You've probably already figure this out by now but they're most likely 4-40 like the other screws in the chassis. Each wheel requires 4 of them and I think they're 3/8" long but not sure about the length.discgolfer72 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 9:45 pm on a side note anyone know the proper hardware size to attacht the rear wheels to the pan car in the background

Re: 5 hour round trip need some info on what ive got here
first car of the lot up and running under its own power is the c and m cobra
vintage electronics an all lol
found a nice set or rear bolink race foams in the box for the rear
all the fronts are pretty cracked up though
digging deeper I also found this sweet looking drag body , to bad no chassis for it in the lot
