Built this Kyosho Ultima to replicate the 1st rc car my brother and I raced back in 1987. We didnt have much money, so we bought the kit and split racing duties between us, until Derek was able to buy a JRX2. Its complete with oe shock towers and Kyosho LeMans 360ST motor, just like we raced it back then. Like all of our builds its full runner to boot.

1 beautiful emerald green anodized RC10DS chassis, 1 awesomely detailed Tamiya Porsche 911 body, 80+ donor parts from a crashed Mustang DS, much time, lots of love, and 2 creative hands. These are the ingredients used to build this Porsche.

Rebuilt RC10B4. Not a huge fan of the B4 body and definitely not a fan of cab forward bodies so adapted a B3 to fit

Another botm virgin here.. This is my Team Losi JRX2 restoration.
What started off as “Hey, I think I have enough extra parts to build a JRX2” ..turned into a full on obsessive build using as many correct, early parts as I could find. It does have a few subtle upgrades like ball bearing steering bellcranks, .050” shorter toe-in rear arms and then the not-so-subtle Wild Cherry wheels. No build thread but it’s my nicest restoration so far. The chassis took a lot of work to remove the super glued edges and a thick clear paint..but what was underneath is beautiful!

First time participant so I will go in with my favorite 4wD buggy of all time. This is my special build of the Tamiya Avante (2022 "TCS" Tokyo Custom Special is the name I gave it). The foundation is a 2011 reissue chassis with a 2018 30th anniversary chrome plated body, and 1988 vintage tamiya electronics from the time period. Graphite steering assembly to match the graphite front to back. Spacers inside rear shocks to reduce the ride height. I added a vintage Avante sticker to an rc stand for that final touch. Will create a separate post later to show you the build. Click on the photo for a high-resolution photo. Thank you.
