Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I got this mini vice a couple of years ago with a parts collection.
Found it very useful for soldering connectors or holding the ballcup when building trackrods.
Now I want to buy another one for the race track toolbox. But I have no idea which brand sells that mini vice.
Any ideas?

The parts on the top of the picture with the chassis are from an Kyosho Optima (front side, side rail, rear motor plate)
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them

Yep buffalo or bobcat but has a modified front end with 2 shocks and a standup tower of some kind, they normally had a single lay down front shock.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
It came with a few rc10 parts that I bought from a guy at my local club. Does anyone know which transmission it is for?

These offroad bodies came with some other parts. Which cars do they go for?
Kyosho, Tamiya or something else?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
They're said be be made by a racer local to me in the late 80's. Made them in his garage or at his work and sold them at the track. I don't remember the name I was given.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
That is quite interesting as it has now ended up in England so has travelled pretty far. Thanks for the information. Are you interested in it?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I already have a couple of them. I find it interesting, knowing of their origin, where I see them. But rc10's have been shipped international for many years, so they can pop up anywhere.RyanTQ10 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 6:17 pmThat is quite interesting as it has now ended up in England so has travelled pretty far.
