I got this sad little Grasshopper.
I only paid $40 (shipped !) for it, so I couldn't really go wrong. And other than a pinion gear, I have enough junk to piece it together with.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got a parts RC10 that was supposed to be in fair condition, and well, yea, it is just that. But I need one or two lower cost graphite chassis for a couple of builds. The big surprise is that I think the shock towers may have been manufactured by my favorite vintage RC accessories manufacturer.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Was the Kydex looking black top plate from the Digger ever used on the Hugger? I think I actually had the Hugger. I remember my being longer than the Digger seems in the photos. "Road Hugger" on the tires has a familiar ring as well.

A b4.2 parts lot and a complete centro4.2 with spares
The buggy looks like it had most of the options added TiN ball studs and the j concepts option parts.

I am guessing that this was from a team racer given that most of the associated parts are stamped not for resale.LowClassCC wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 11:51 amthat's a good looking lot.JosephS wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 11:22 am A b4.2 parts lot and a complete centro4.2 with spares

I get having extra arms and axles. What I don’t get is having 7 top plates. Do they shatter ? Should I just start a collection of just top plates?

I picked up a really nicely painted and trimmed Viper body from rwordenjr. I highly recommend his painting services. I have a short arm gold pan that's been waiting for just the right body.

Here’s an unusual one I received today.. aluminum JRX2 spindles. If anyone knows more about this company and their parts, I’d like to hear it.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got a box from Schumacher. Nothing noteworthy except my Storm now has wheels and ball bearings for the steering. The rest was just spare bits to throw on the pile.
I don't know where I am going with it yet. One idea is to put a drag car body on it, hence the big wheels in back / small wheels in front.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
it took a whlile to arrive with some additional delays but it is finally here... I finally have a Marui CJ-7 Golden Eagle Super Wheelie...

And in the box there is one car (black body) and 75% of the second one (white body, new) : missing a chassis, transmission, rear axles, and front springs.

And that means I will have to possibility to precisely model the CJ-7 body shell like I did for the Land Cruiser.

I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them

I've been hunting for a nice B2 and after letting some nice ones slip away too cheap I finally got mine. And I even like the paint job.
