Wheelbase is now 275mm. Should we make it longer?
Next step is to design the upper deck. Probably rather traditional design coming up...

This chassis is not in any way "Quadra specific". It will work with any arms that suits 10T nose setup.
Chassis lower deck number is NIX63057 and upper deck is NIX63058. I will send the drawings to GoMachV.
4pcs 1" standoffs and one upper deck front end mounting part needed to complete the design. Upper deck front end mounting screws are 20mm apart.

How much do you think the chassis, top deck and stand offs would weigh in carbon fiber??

Lower deck area is 262 cm2 and upper deck is 67 cm2.
Carbon fibre sheet density varies, but lets assume it's around 1.6 g/cm3.
With 2.5mm lower deck thickness, weight would be 105g.
With 2.0mm upper deck thickness, weight would be 22g.
You can tweak further from here...

That's actually pretty good the carbon fiber chassis that I run on my rc10's are around 120g at 3mm thick.

Hi Niki,

Possible to share the SLS file?

Hey,
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I haven't shared any of my 3d-models. Sharing 3d's would be cool if making a design would take like half an hour. Usually it takes a lot of time and many iterations. Also a single part have embedded design information in it. It's not just a part. It's what it is because of a complete design.
If you want to have SLS printed Quadra arms, you're welcome to my Shapeways or imaterialise shops.

Hello my friends on the best RC forum on the planet. It's been a while.

I just published these Quadra-symmetric arms on Printables.com for everyone to print with their own 3d-printers.
You don't even need to log in to Printables.com to be able to download my CAD files. If you do log in - would be nice if you add a following to my profile. There might be new stuff coming in later.

Just a reminder here about the license:
Quadra RC10 arm files are distributed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/

-You can share, copy and adapt this design.
-You must provide attribution when sharing this design or a remix. Link to the original download page at Printables.com is ok.
-You may not use this design for commercial purposes for example selling prints on an online marketplace.
-If you run a print-on-demand service, you may print this model for someone on request and charge a fair price for your services. However, you may not list this design for sale on your own storefront.
-You must distribute any remixes under the same license.

Happy printing !
