Either that or a naught team driver sold on some of his parts to the previous owner😂

And in the box there is one car (black body) and 75% of the second one (white body, new) : missing a chassis, transmission, rear axles, and front springs.

And that means I will have to possibility to precisely model the CJ-7 body shell like I did for the Land Cruiser.
That looks fantastic! Another RC vehicle I neve knew existed.

By the way, does anyone know if the CJ-5 body has ever been reproduced in 1/10 scale? My brother had a Levi edition CJ (1977 I think) and I really want to make an RC model of that vehicle. Lexan is okay but hard plastic would be best. thanks.

There is a lot of interesting cars from knonw or unknown brands :-)
For the CJ-5 bodyshell, I spot a few toy grade cars with CJ-5 bodies while searching for the CJ-7 Golden Eagle. All of them seemed to be hard bodies, but it may be worth to search in this area. At the end, you may model the body, scale it up to your needs and get it printed (I may need a bit more precision than just for a rendering, however)...
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them :-)

Now if I could just find a set of matching rears.

Ascot Sprint Car Kit NIB. I wish I could afford more NIB stuff, because I completely have the childhood Christmas morning feels. :D

Sweet! But why is it all the ascot boxes are completely destroyed lol! That’s one of the best examples I’ve seen of a good one!

HOLY COW! That one belongs in a museum. :D

I have a well used (mangled) Ascot in a box somewhere.

Just curious; are you planning to cut the shrink wrap??

This one was crammed into a storage unit, which is why it is a little mangled. Pay attention to this guy: https://www.ebay.com/str/thetoyshops He recently purchased two storage units filled with thousands of pieces of 70's - 90's RC, and a lot of it is NIP. I have seen just part of the collection, and it is nice! I have been invited to walk through his stuff in the near future. He isn't giving it away though. I made him one offer on one other car (built but never ran Eliminator with #3 painted body), and I did not end up with it. :D

This was bought so that I could actually have a Sprint car! My hand built chassis just never worked out the way I wanted it to, and I back-burner'd it quite some time ago. This kit is definitely getting opened up and used! :D

Here is a follow up to these parts.. NDN was a shop in Pittsfield, MA that closed down in the early 90’s. Approximately 20 sets of these aluminum JRX2 front spindles were made.
