What? Mid motor? No way. Must be photoshopped. I have heard from someone that knows and mid motor was never ever used back in the day. In fact it wasn’t even invented until someone mounted a motor on a RC10GT :lol:

According to my sources those cars never existed. Let’s just say they probably wouldn’t be legal to race :lol:

Looks like back of an Optima Mid or Lazer perhaps stuck on a 2wd chassis? Seems simple enough for the time.

We did that too! Optima Mid gear box on an Ultima chassis. :)

Do you have some pictures of yours or your friend's?
I've posted a tiny picture a couple times before: of one of those with the original chassis and body.
It looks stunning but every time I intended building one I remembered some drawbacks... which I forgot once again
