Yeah that had a couple cool buggies. They sold out to Xpress for some wide (pre touring car series) sedans.

Got a bunch of stuff from Integy.
It looks like a lot but those bearings were individually packaged.
I mostly just wanted the battery jig and brush hoods. Most of the other stuff was on sale or clearance.

Looks pretty cool. I've never heard of Orca RC. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it.

With a name like that, I'd assume that it was a marine esc. If it is, it likely doesn't have brakes, only forward and reverse.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 10:02 pmLooks pretty cool. I've never heard of Orca RC. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it.

I’ve run their brushless esc’ for a while now and they are pretty awesome, I’ve been sent this by the local importer to test against the hobbywing 1080s I normally run in vintage- so I’ll guess we’ll see how they goFrankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 10:02 pmLooks pretty cool. I got this semi-transparent Blue Bird servo to go in the B4, to match it's Yokomo esc and Hitec receiver. The fact that it is pretty fast, has decent torque, and metal gears just makes it better.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Even with the generous offer given by the seller, this is the most expensive, by far, parts tree I have ever bought. This is why I don't build things right, because building right is expensive!!
I have bought quite a few cars for less than I have in this group of plastic.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Well, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do - regardless of cost.morrisey0 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 3:40 pm Even with the generous offer given by the seller, this is the most expensive, by far, parts tree I have ever bought. I'm very surprised you found them unused and still on the tree.
Still trying to ID the large flat parts along the sides of the tree (parts 1 and 2) - I've never seen them before.
I reckon I'll just have to wait until you post photos of the finished truck.

EDIT: Oh, okay, I found them. Nice!
