because reasons....
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

I'm glad associated is bringing back stuff. I really wish it would have been a Jay Halsey replica though. Not complaining because I love the dedication. But it would make sense before a truck.
The 'collector' aspect of the anniversary chassis makes it hard to say yeah I'm gonna get one and dye it up and make it look like Jay's car.

It’s such an odd time. I wonder if in the long run this will be harder on collectors. Jc racing and fan rc both under took the task of minting up vintage compatible parts. I can’t imagine once AE releases parts that either will do enough sales to keep up production.
AE will only release parts in a short window. Will the others still be standing when the window closes?

I certainly hope so.JosephS wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 1:35 pm It’s such an odd time. I wonder if in the long run this will be harder on collectors. My guess is that AE bought maybe a couple thousand sets of parts to build 40th kits and that's it - a one-time order. They learned a hard lesson last time with the Worlds re-re so I doubt there will be parts support for the 40th and beyond. Unlike Tamiya, re-releasing vintage buggies doesn't float AE's boat. Just guessing, of course.

Even a T2 ReRe would be nice. I have a Team Moo tribute body ready to go for a T2 ReRe!

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I really think I could pull the trigger on a 10T. Really my first "passion", aside from just being lucky enough to stumble into "hobby grade" stuff bitd, was/is the racing trucks. I tapped out after the Blue Eagle and then picked it back up when the T3 was just out. Always been a big fan of the Associated trucks. At least up to the T3. When the 10T dropped, with those "illegal" front wheels, and started running roughshod over the competition....full spreads in RCCA, Gobstoppers, Big League Chew and Lemonheads were king......

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
The rc10T compatible parts was removed from rc10.com
Base link https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_trucks/RC10T/Team/
Parts and accessories is blank
https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_trucks/RC10T/Team/parts_accessories/
Other cars have live links to things like oil and servos
Here is the T2 page for comparison
https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_trucks/RC10T2/Team/parts_accessories/
The rc10 Team Kit is listing all sorts of compatible parts
https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/cars_and_trucks/RC10/Team/parts_accessories/
Oddly this is exactly the same behavior for the rc10 classic 40th page
