Small axle pin removal

Any advice on how to remove this small axle pin? The other side was tight but came right out. This side is stuck. I have tried oiling it, but still not budging. This is a 2x10 split roll pin in the rear of an Outlaw Rampage Pro.

I use needle nose pliers and kinda angle it so you have one side on the end of the pin and the other against the threads. If you're careful it doesn't cause any issues. Once it budges, it usually comes out fairly easy. Below is a fancier solution.

Temporary answer until someone smart chimes in...

If your friends are shooters, someone in the group will have a set of small brass punches and experience removing pins. Put nuts on the axle to protect the threads and tap it out. Sit the car in the normal position with the pin straight up, support the axle on both sides of the pin, and drive it out.

I've used a needle nose pliers to squeeze the sides of the pin so it compresses. From there I try and push the pin out. Sometimes just a few hard compressions on each side is all that's needed to loosen up the pin.

Thanks everyone, I was able to wiggle it out with needle nose. Definitely need a new pin now.

Any suggestions on safely removing the 4.5 ball ends on this thing? I already broke one trying to use a screwdriver to pry it off.

2 pairs of pliers and twist the parts in opposite directions.

The jaws of channel locks are offset perfectly so that you can push with one side of the jaws and stabilize it with the other until it is flush with the axle on one side and then you can pull it out with the channel locks like a pliers after that.

I recommend setting the axle on a block of wood and then tap it out with a hammer and punch. Light taps will do the trick.
