There's a huge antique(junk)mall I cruise on my lunch from time to time looking for r/c stuff. They have quite a few most of the time. I can't really remember which ones were the early ones and which were later models. Don't find much r/c stuff adn when I do it's grossly overpriced...

craigslist has a lot of listings for them too usually. Dirt cheap. I see them a lot while checking r/c there too.

That was a great read and video! How could the place that had it let it sit out in the woods like it was nothing?? :?

It seemed like I had hundreds of Stompers. The playsets I remember having were the stunt set and the puller set.

I'm hoping that day will come soon for BJ and the Bear.

No doubt! Careful if you search images for "BJ and The Bear". I think the BJ part turns up some very weird results! It's a sick world out there!

"supposedly", one of the trucks from bj and the bear is about 15-20 minutes from my house, around where nazareth speedway used to be.

i have a screamin' headache today. i tried working in the garage, but it just wasn't gonna happen. so i grabbed the stomper box before i left, and did a quick sweep through boxes in the basement. i found 2 cars, but there stomper knock-off, and are too wide for the turnarounds on the track. the 5 bodies are actual stomper bodies. couldn't find any of the chassis' though. :(

but anyway, here's the track. first time it's been setup in over 20 years. :)

Nice stomper stuff! I still have that same track and a few stompers that my brother and I had as kids. My brother also used to have a Dukes kid bicycle with the rebel number plate on the bars. I'll post pics of another Dukes item we still have and use.

Sadly, I've outgrown my old daisy dukes.

I just took a pic of the Dukes serving tray from 1981 with a newer AMT model. And my brother's General Lee bike from 1982.

The General Lee was such an iconic car. However, being an owner of that generation of B-Body got annoying sometimes, I wish I had a dollar for every time some guy told me, "Hey man, you should paint that orange and put the confederate flag on the roof!"--the car would've probably been restored already! Those comments got pretty old...and I never really liked orange anyway.
