Some electronics to get this build moving.

Top deck done... so far.
Need to accommodate mounts for sway bar, wing and body.
I use the RC10 T2 six cell battery stop for the battery hold down at the rear.

Test fitting some electronics and you got to have some HPI candy on your builds.
Fabricated sway bar mounts (pieces of RC10 front arm mounts) and placed them under the HPI wing mounts.
Still tons of parts that needs to be fabricated or ordered on this one

Last nights job was grinding down the rear shock mounts in an angle to increase articulation.
Decided that the HPI wing mounts will have to be moved.
We’ll see where once body is decided.
I have to order a 15x15x1.5 millimeters angle profile (stainless) so that I can manufacture shock mounts for the trailing arms...
we are moving rearwards though at a slow pace. I’m dreading the rear wheel axles

Yeah at first I was like oh OK, thats quite a large top plate, but then i looked closer and was like NICE!!!! Love it when you can make a multifunction part.

Yes, the top deck is a bit on the larger side, but with battery and the trailing frog legs not much to do.
I will do minor adjustments to the deck, but in all this is the final shape. Unless something comes up along the way.

Finally!!
This has been soo dreaded and mentally exhausting, but now the rear axles are done!!
Just hope they will hold up.
Inner screw is threaded in the trailing arm.
Outer screw is threaded in the axle with a amount of adjustment for the toe in setting.

Next up is shock and sway bar mounts. Then we move on to the esthetic of the arms. That is something I’m looking forward to!

Two things that comes to mind daily on this build.

As I mounted the sway bar I discovered that I couldn’t lift up the battery hold down...(battery loaded up the rear)
I’m not sure this is the final solution, but it does the job.
Waiting on the DuBro ball links to arrive to finish up the sway bar installation.

Worked on the trailing arms and have to consider them done as far as for the M2 grub screws that will fix the toe in adjustment.
It’s almost a finished roller.
