Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Late last year I was thinking about an Eddie scheme on a B3 body I needed to spray. Ended up with a homage to the Presidential election.

I still remember when that album came out. I was in high school and my friend and I would drive around in his chevy s10 blasting that album. Good times. 8)

I was going to paint my vonats car with a similar scheme also. I'm going to make an homage body just didn't get to it yet. simple, effective, and instantly recongizable.

Love it.

The history of Van Halen brings back all kinds of memories from throughout my youth. From rocking the air guitar as a kid and getting excited every time they released a new album throughout my school years. I remember how upsetting it was when Roth left the band, but Hagar quickly grew on me. I was living in Reno, NV in the late 90's and they were absolutely hated in that area at the time. Four years in a row, if my memory serves me, they were scheduled for sold out concerts in Reno, and every year, the night before the concert, they would party so hard at Sammy Hagar's bar in Tahoe, they would cancel at the last minute. I'm not sure if they ever actually played Reno or not. I was also a big fan of Pantera and when Eddie gave his yellow/black Van Halen II guitar to be buried with Dimebag Darrel after his murder, I was choked up about it. Awesome rock star history. When I picture Eddie Van Halen in my head, I always think of him playing the Eruption solo on that red/white/black guitar.
