What projects have you got going?????
Thought it will be good to see some pic's of projects on the go.
Wheather it's a donar car for bits, Collection of parts for a future build up. Maybe a future build you want to do.
Since the Gallery is for completed builds show what you have got so far.
I have around 8 cars that im getting parts for a re build or custom build.
Re store a Hot Shot 2 (another one)
Turbo Optima or Option House Optima
Lwb Ultima with the cage.
Original Boomerang
New Top Force from all new parts
A very special Frog ( A joint effort with FMI ) Fox Man Industries..
On road Rally car
Nikko Super Sprint
Lazer ZXR
Pic's too come.
That is It I have run out room now. I even got parts stored in the ceiling of our roof. Need a SHED LOL.

Re: What projects have you got going?????
I've got a few:
- Tamiya King Blackfoot that I rebuilt that needs some body work, but the rest has been rebuilt

- My original RC10 from 20 years ago that needs a cleaning

- An old is new gold pan that I would like to try to race a bit next summer. I've never raced before, so that should be something...

Re: What projects have you got going?????
When we rebuilt our house last year after our fire, we lost the garage in favor of a huge master bedroom. I got a 10x16 tuff shed in the back yard now that is my hobby room. It has a heater, plenty of power, no windows (keeps it secure) and its on the alarm system with the house (ditto). Best money ever spent, and if she ever kicks me out I am taking the damn shed with me Lol!Mad Racer wrote:

Finish the bolink

Get the B1.5 into a roller

Panda stadium truck
No pics, Mount body
Bolink invader
Finish build
Houge chassis rc10
Finish build
Box of jrx2/t's
Find black screws
Kyosho rocky
Find chassis parts

Re: What projects have you got going?????
Ugh, I've got so many "irons" in the fire its stupid. Specifically this winter (until Jan anyway) I want to come very close to finishing my Masami 93' WCS replica...... http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=15520 (seems like its really close but there is a ton to do) before 2013. Finish my Harai JMRCA replica (not as bad) and paint a shell for it..... http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21639&hilit=jmrca
Sadly if I get either of those done I would be amazed.
Lastly, locate a Trinity Championship mod (Kevin Kevin) New and a Trinity pushed 1700 scrc or Trinity pushed p170's-

Re: What projects have you got going?????
I'll take a picture of my insanity sometime tonight to add it to this thread, but I've got 'kits' together in boxes. I haven't built them yet because the boxes are nice to stack and store, complete buggies, not so much. With an impending move in the near future, it's easier to keep 'em easy to transport.
listing:
'kits' to build:
worlds car, 95% new parts
blue anodized 'Old is New' custom
worlds 'worlds' car, worlds chassis, rpm worlds suspension
T2 buggy(B1.5)
Pink and white T2 buggy(B1.5)
Houge RC10
RC10B2 95% new parts
composite craft chassis/TPS chain trans car
losi XX4
TQ10
rc10T3 in nice shape
3 yokomo 870c cars, one stock, one lots of RPM, one some typical updates
yokomo yr4
a pile of hawk/radicator/2 parts enough to make two cars/trucks
rc10DS
to be rebuilt:
rc10b2 team car
ayk pro radiant
trx-1
dominator
losi pro se
losi lxt

Re: What projects have you got going?????
I try to not have too many unfinished projects ongoing, because I somehow have to split the time between my other hobbies. With spring/summer done and snow has returned, I'll be focussing my attention back on RC.
RC projects: Finish Barney: Make custom bumper, fabricate wing mount, paint body & wing.
-Odd RC jobs: Polish several aluminum wheels; paint '69 Charger body; sift through & organize parts I won't need and eventually offer them for sale.
-Way on the back-burner project: Franken-buggy idea to build a RWD car using Ultima/Optima, Duratrax and likely other brand parts. All I can say for sure is there'll be a lot of aluminum.
Winter 1:1 Charger projects: Restore heater box, fix a damaged plastic dash piece (I bought a piece that was in good shape but had a 1" hole drilled in it; I'll be cutting out a hole from my beat-up donor piece to epoxy it in the good piece and fill the hole, then dye it black with Krylon Fusion for Plastic); paint several parts I sand-blasted this summer with POR-15/Rust Bullet; and if I can somehow find the time, I need to rebuild the front bumper/grille assembly.

Re: What projects have you got going?????
I have several to finish up:
My Old is New build, part 2
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=25195
I've got this one which is for sale, but may be worth keeping and if I do I'll need to devote more time to it
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=28406
My green gold and white build needs a vintage Novak ESC to complete it so it runs, and then I may promptly take it all apart if I can find an MIP Legends 4-10 kit for it!
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=25707
I have this purple B3 racer build I started, which is mostly complete, but I was waiting to update it after I had it completely running.
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=26260
And I just started a new build last night just because I felt like opening up new parts and putting something together! Sort of like snapping together a bunch of legos, having nice parts staring at me begging to be attached to something is hard to resist!

Re: What projects have you got going?????
Well, we just moved in to a new house yesterday, where I finally have a room just for hobby stuff. So my first project is getting that room set up. Then I have to go retrieve the rest of my hobby stuff from storage, sort through it all, and organize everything.
...and after that, I'll get back to you on actual projects...

Re: What projects have you got going?????
Do we really want to talk about this????
RC10L is the closest to being done, RC12i and IFS, RC12e x2, RC12LC, RC12L3. Restore Novak servo and place in RC12l. Restore electronics and put in RC10 Graphite and RC10 Worlds Car. Build new RC10B4.1 Worlds Car with all Factory Team options and paint body. Build new 12mm shocks for SC10 and Worlds B4.1. Paint Bruiser body. Trim, decal and put Andy's painted body on RPM Worlds RC10, Finish Hot Shot, finish RC4WD Galande (only been sitting 1/2 finished for three or four years
). Restore runner into shelf queen RC10T4 FT, Restore TQ10 short and long arm versions. Build runner 6 gear graphite with as many hop ups that I have sitting around. The most important is to tidy my basement/work shop, it looks like a disaster! Ask VintageAE (Anthony)!
I would like to put a bunch of slot cars and parts on eBay, as I know I'm sitting on cash for them, and that would free some space as well as coin for other projects! This is only what I can think of right now!!!
Thanks Mark!!! Where's my antidepressant medication?

Re: What projects have you got going?????
This is therapeutic. It's good to know others are just as slow at making progress.
I got an Agitator XII I want to cut a new chassis for, an RBS Sprint car that needs paint and wheels, plans for a 4wd RC10 I need to collect parts for, and a new idea for what I want to do to my Turbo Scorpion.
My problem is if I take too long to collect the parts I lose interest, get new ideas, and then totally change direction on what I want to build.

same here, but i usually come back to them. the two optimas i have are a great example, i bought them and a bunch of parts then got caught up in another class to race and now they sit. i'll get back to them someday.
