Le Mans motor collection.
Here's a couple of pictures of my Le Mans collection to date. I thought they should have a good home. Enjoy, Chris.

Re: Le Mans motor collection.
Very nice collection you have there. I've started to collect kyosho motors here as well, only have a few but hopefully it will grow so I can do something like that too.

Nice collection, you must have some cool vintage RCs. Got any pictures of those?

All that pretty anodized aluminum...it's like a treasure chest filled with gems!

Re: Le Mans motor collection.
Thanks for the kind words you blokes. Unfortunately Fakiee, I don't have any of my old cars. No photos either. I own four buggies now, all bought in the last three years. I've attached another photo of my only other Le Mans motor. It's a 480T can, 480 Gold endbell (painted green) and a Parma 19x2 armature. It's bolted in my Tomahawk and still needs to be wired up. Enjoy, Chris.

Re: Le Mans motor collection.
I see your collection lacks the SPA 240WS, I see a nice home for it there beside the SPA 480WT.
To my knowledge, it's the fastest-spinning Le Mans motor from that time. It just so happens I rebuilt one of those, it's in near-mint condition. If you're interested in adding it to your collection, send me a PM and when you've been granted access to the B/S/T section, we can discuss it further.

Re: Le Mans motor collection.
Great collection you have there.
My first non-silver can was a Le Mans 600E. Not sure if it really made my Hunter any faster. It certainly didn't stop the gears from stripping.
Then I cut the back end off the Hunter and mounted up a Hotshot rear end with twin shocks and a 240T. It was awsome fast. I wish I still had it.
I bought a Mid SE new which came witha 240ST which was the best car/motor combo I have ever had out of the box.
What was the winds on these motors?
Cheers,
Michael.

Re: Le Mans motor collection.
Thanks Lowgear and Tagger. As far as I know Tagger, the 240ST is a 22 turn single wind motor. I've owned two of them. Ones in my collection and the other used to power my Tamiya M01 Mini back in '95. Updated photo time.
Chris.
