Re: Posting pics
It’s a limitation of the forum. We have been banging our heads trying to get the owner to let us have some room for pics and he isn’t cooperating. Really, you have two options- make the pics tiny and use the boards picture hosting, or host them elsewhere and link them here. With photobucket that used to be easy. Now it’s a matter finding a new place to host the pics that won’t photobucket you later on
Re: Posting pics

Re: Posting pics
Whatever folder you have your pic in on your CPU, hover the cursor of the pic, if it says the size is in the Mb range it's to big to post as an attachment. That concludes my level of knowledge

Re: Posting pics
For some reason, tonight its not even letting me post 800x600 pics, that are only like 50k. Not sure what the deal is...

Re: Posting pics
Image hosting sites seem a scary realm since we all got bit by photobucket after years of reliability. I've posted my pics directly from my comp to the forum for a while but that seems to have come to a screeching halt suddenly with this new problem. I would like to hear from everyone here what other image hosters have been used and good or negative feedback results. Speedchaser mentioned imgbb.com. Anyone else use them? Build of the month Contest isn't going to be as much fun with no pics

Re: Posting pics
Same problem, I usually just resize 800x600, but this is first time I have had this problem as well. Do we all need to chip in to upgrade something to an easier better pic hosting format? This forum is the only one worth it!

Re: Posting pics
Is the server out of space or something? Why has this suddenly changed? I used to upload 100k+ size pics all the time, now it's telling me my 50k pics are too big.

Re: Posting pics
Yeah, I tried a file that was only 18k. Too large. Something is wrong. Thing is, it's a totally new message type, so maybe there was an update to the board software that has issues?

Re: Posting pics
I was playing around last night with attachment settings and may have put something back incorrectly.
