Graphite rc10gt
Was there ever a graphite chassis offered for the rc10gt ? I've done a few searches and found nothing. Its a full chassis , not a flat piece with the screw on nose plate . just wondering what brand it'd be if it was an after market option . someone put a black armed black tub GT with the red head dynamite engine

Re: Graphite rc10gt
Maybe I should have waited until I had the truck in hand before making this post .
There was a miss understanding between seller and I on the bolt on truck nose plate . ( I cannot zoom in on the picture he sent me )
It turns out that frame is some kind of fiberglass , a lot like the Horizon Tq10 . I'd say its homemade , but the cut out is just too nice to be homemade . the countersunk holes , cut out for the bump box wheel under the flywheel is perfect .
The nose plate is installed incorrectly & the engine is not a Dynamite. It turned out to be a fantom 15 . After an hour drive there, I wasn't about to come home empty handed .
I'd upload pictures , but photobucket is down .
I still say its too clean to be a homemade frame !

I definitely can't wait to see it. I'm a GT fan through and through. Sounds interesting.

It is very similar to that , except it Don't have the extra holes . the bump start notch and edges are clean .discgolfer72 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 3:50 am https://www.ebay.com/itm/Associated-RC10GT-Graphite-Vintage-RARE-MIP-Rear-Exhaust-O-S-CZ-12Z-Stealth/183414763275?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dd59c4e3e33c74f4f8a72824bed40a209%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D201748700379%26itm%3D183414763275&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A1529f7c8-b3e3-11e8-95df-74dbd1803a5c%7Cparentrq%3Abc7117431650aad08423bcb8fffd98c6%7Ciid%3A1

Re: Graphite rc10gt
Okay so it is a full chassis . I removed the nose plate to find that the chassis has the front kick up molded with it . The nose plate (aluminum) was just put on for extra protection.
Sure wish I could attach a picture !

Tuna
Have you tried uploading using the attachment option under the box when posting?
It has worked for me. JPEG 1024 x 768 or under 1 meg.
All my photos I first put on my computer then use attachment option.

Use the attachment feature. I've been doing it and it becomes permanent on the board.

Re: Graphite rc10gt
The previous owner did notch the frame under the pull start for clearance . see no other holes that would resemble this originally being an electric rc10 .
The fantom fr15 had a broken pull start . the one from my tamiya FS12 was a direct replacement ! I did take GT for a spin in the backyard , it seriously hauls butt ! Much faster than any other GT I had with stock engines !

Re: Graphite rc10gt
Possibly one of those dirt track GT oval chassis just built up truck style. Ive never seen any fiber GT chassis but it looks to good for a home brew.
