More like video of the day not taken by me

About 30 miles north of where I live

WOW, that guy is blessed to be alive - and to simply drive away - amazing.

Anyway, an honest to goodness Texas Twister caught on video.

An old high school buddy of mine paid me a visit recently.
While he's definitely added a few pounds during the past 44 years (class of '78), with the 'stache we couldn't decide if he looks more like Wilfred Brimley or Teddy Roosevelt.
He's a good guy either way and I was happy he stopped by.

A couple weeks ago at coxbros1 and TheDiamondOne's place. This is the display Derek has at his place. None of their modern racers or monster trucks in the main display. The meticulous placement of different colored LEDs to accentuate the individual cars really makes a difference. You can really grasp the scale of The Vanning too. 8)

My son asked me what that was. He thought the explanation was hilarious.

A problem when your weedeater motor fails mid flight.

Came over the house about 200 feet up. I missed that pic.
Almost made it back home a half mile away.

Got the daughter on the "sticks" today. Tamiya Nissan Titan, I think it's the DT-02 platform. Anyway, we worked on low speed drivability.

Dirty thirty...? In my parts, we had a strip...my bad, "gentlemens club" right up the road which was on US route 30 and IL-251. It's unofficial name was Dirty Thirty.... thank the good Lord you're not talking about the same thing
