Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
No I was just being funny, I appreciate your time on the chassis. I usually don’t like to work off other peoples models as I like to be the one that makes the cake AND eats it all gone haha. I am printing off my junior towers now so we will see how that goes.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
I can't wait to see how the towers turn out, it will save me from modeling them lol. I model them all just so anyone can use them if they need, if you want any of the models in tinkercad let me know and I will get you a link.. beware I am a newb and they are a mess lol
We just need to find someone to prod to design some bodies now =)
I may try my hand at drawing up some logo rims eventually.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
The current chassis is almost perfect, I only ran into 3 minor issues. The arms that screw into the ball stud mounts on the rear bulkhead are about half mm too high, the strengthening ribs at the front kickup need a hair more clearance for the bellcranks, and the hex for the bell crank shafts are a hair small but they do tighten up just fine.
None of that is a deal breaker on the current model but it will be fixed within a day or so, current model is still usable just need to trim the ribs and lower the holes in the back a hair (or don't use them lol)
I have already started on the chassis brace.

My printer is in need of those shock towers Jeff!!
Are you going to be printing them and selling them under your brand or selling the models?

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I have had issues before with people I trusted so as a policy I never share files anymore. I figure plenty of people will end up doing the exact same thing as I did but I don’t like using other peoples work for various reasons. I probably will end up putting my items on shapeways as it’s the easiest all around.
Hub carrier was up next, and the print was good. Now to shrink it.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Well drat, I avoid Shapeways due to prices I now see as exorbitant after getting the printers... I guess I will just wait until the stockers show up and model the junior ones then
Edit: Printing test chassis brace now wheee.. I will probably do an alternate brace with servo mounts for those people who get sad when they cant screw down their servos... once I get a stock mini servo
Edit 2.0: I think the chassis are done, I need to do another test print to check them to be sure but that should just be a formality. Now to polish the chassis brace.

RPM Esc tray copy?
I am going to need to make a junior rear shock tower to make sure it fits before I can finish it.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
You guys are crazy!! I thought the Mini JRX2 was cool and exciting, and then I see all the crazy stuff going on here! All the Junior/ Pro SE stuff you're doing is having me steer away from other projects and devote some savings for some of these mods. Amazing, crazy good stuff!

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
This is crazy, seeing that Pro-SE front looking so much like the 1/10, I can't believe it. Amazing !
This is also why this Mini JRX2 is so cool, when it get everyone creative with mods and designing!
