He has the chargers to go with the sticker too, unless he's already gotten rid of them. I just don't have any use for them, assuming they would only be good for NiCd batteries.Charlie don't surf wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 1:33 amThat Lavco hiding in there is a rare birdFrankentruck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:43 pm A friend that's getting rid of his RC stuff sent me a pile of vintage stickers. I have a couple of those. Really cool to have, just for the history!Frankentruck wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 2:00 amHe has the chargers to go with the sticker too, unless he's already gotten rid of them. Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Over the last couple of days the upgrade parts for my TT-02R build have been coming in.
. .
All I need to do now (other than kit assembly ) is to make a transponder mount. I should be able to manage that, as long as I can figure out a good mounting spot. It just needs to point out the side of a clear section of the body shell, correct?

Today it was an RPM toe in gauge. Over the last couple of days I got some Team Brood motor mount screws with blue anodized heatsink washers, A MIP metric ball end hex driver set, a pit/work bench lamp and various sized pinion gears. Oh and some lipo balance boards.

I have one but I usually eyeball it.
I don't use expensive servos, so my stuff doesn't center very well anyway.

Amain was (is?) closing out some toy grade stuff, took a gamble on them since they didn't have much for pics or reviews. This entire lot was under $100, and while shipping wasn't free I did make another purchase that qualified so the entire lot shipped for free. Pretty impressed with the quality for toy grade, the jeep looking things are sold as wltoys product and the construction stuff is partially die cast. Everything came with rechargable batteries as well. Most will be Christmas donations to local charities.

When disassembling the diff of my RC10 team car, I dropped ONE of the diff balls and watched it hit the tip of my shoe. And what do ya know, it immediately vanished into thin air the moment it hit my shoe and is nowhere to be found. Guarantee it'll show up in a few months to a year. Good news is, I now have 13 spares. Also picked up tires & foams while at it, servo saver for my buddy's Team car and a cutting mat.

Just got back from my cousin's place. Coxbros and the diamond one hooked me up with early Christmas presents. No idea when I'll get around to it but I will. Bag is full of motors and cases.

Something came up at a good price, so threw in a cheeky bid, and no other bids.... so I have another brushless ESC.
Hope it works! Osiris is the key.

Finally!
A very nice box from Grand Prix 3D in Australia has arrived.
Been waiting since 1991 for a chance to build this!
