Yeah, no paint "yet". I kinda want to farm it out. It seems like a new from kit on a near pristine factory short chassis build deserves more than a two masking tape stripes three colors MAX rattle can afterthought job (but only because I'm not 14 years old now). Thinking clear wing though!
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Maybe a paint scheme using that translucent paint might go with the theme?TRX-1-3 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 10, 2025 6:35 am Yeah, no paint "yet". I kinda want to farm it out. That's a pretty buggy... Can't blame a ya for wanting to farm out the paint. Cost of paint, materials, etc. is almost the same as a professional paint job... but without the better results.

Not exactly today, that was more during the long week-end we had here in France, but met again @TravelinTravis and @Trass in Belley for few days of RC vintage fun...
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them

I recently finished the Bolink Cruiser thanks to Danomite for the pieces I was missing. Except... It just didn't look right
I think I like it!
So, I had some wheel dots made

Butchered this 6 gear motorplate to fit a stealth and then chopped some more to fit it into the tamiya astute chassis. Quite pleased with the final result. Will dye the stealth case black to match the tamiya plastics

Finished off some plastic fantastic kits. The sabre was done and just needing stickers but I decided to print up the dummy msc for it also. They just look right. The bigwig was on preorder from amain since it was announced and I had to build it right away. Even though it's just a fancy hotshot underneath it's just sooooo sexy

Made an adapter for a little 3S battery and took the Super Clod for a spin. Holy crap! That really wakes it up! Whoa that snail is fast!!!

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Ran the rc10 and took the jrx pro se on its maiden voyage. The rc10 lasted most of a battery pack before the locknut backed off of the diff and everything fell apart. The servo tape on the jrx failed on jump #1. Also, any suggestions for tires to run on a hard, dusty surface? Even my fairly soft jconcepts spikes are like driving on ice.
