lemon-yellow pro-SE (updated 6/2009)

Post by aconsola »

This was posted elsewhere in an earlier stage. This pro-SE has a bunch of aftermarket parts from lunsford, mip and RPM. I had a stock Peak Performance motor in there, but I think the Mod fits the theme better. I would like for the trans case to be a little less faded and brighter, but beggars can't be choosers, eventually I'll find one. The yellow motor plate is a new aquisition. it is used but in great shape.

yeah...an A&L bellcrank would look really nice on there. A yellow puretech battery strap would really finisht it off.

Nice build Anthony....

Roger

This car is really a beauty and it is a nice idea to make a car from certain colors.

If You want to continue this project, try to find A&L steering parts and yellow Pure Tech battery strap that others already suggested. There is also a Team Losi yellow spur gear, 82 tooth if I remember right but I don't know it that spur fits Your MIP slipper. Also if You find yellow wires to battery and some gold battery plugs, yellow antenna pipe, they will be nice too. Try to find two more yellow aluminium screws to front stiffener. Losi also made gold shock shafts, that did have a nitride surfase on them.
Yellow, or gold to be exact, speedos were made by Tekin, if You are interested to find some electronics to Your car.

Are the front springs made from long Losi rear springs?

If someone wants to make more of these color Losi cars, orange and red might be choices:
Orange wheels, spurs, springs, Novac elecronic stuff, Race Prep motors, antenna pipes at least are made.
Red wheels, spurs, springs, some electronics and batterys, antenna pipes are made. Red motors are probably also made?

Are other colors also possible?

Jirka

Beauty of a car, I think it looks just right. Too much yellow will throw the look off. The Pro SE is on my list of must have someday cars. Very nice
