I've done other colors. They just don't pop like purple.

Re: Scr8p's Classic - Stock Build
They come back apart so easily.
Alright, i've decided to let my other kit sit and chill in the box.... for now anyway. So being as though I have a bunch of ano to be done shortly, I figured I would just redo this one blue like I wanted to do with my second kit. My goal is to more or less build a new version of this car, but chop the sides, open up some of the holes in the tub, alter the motor plate, etc. Now I'm having second thoughts on the cutting and drilling.....

Dunno if you're planning to do what I think you are....but if you are I wouldn't cut and drill that blue chassis. You'd have to re-ano it and the other parts anyway so might as well start with a gold tub.

Re: Scr8p's Classic - Stock Build
oh no, i'm not touching that blue car.
the plan was to ano one of my classic kits blue, minus the shocks. they would stay gold..... like my old blue tub. but i wanted to do chassis mods to the classic that were of the period. but my interest in altering the classic parts really isn't there.

I like the dark blue, I have a batch that's been waiting to get done for a while- I'm curious to see how our blues compare

Yeah, it's very nice. I did zero prep to this stuff, just sent it to them and this is what I got back. I'm happy with it.Charlie don't surf wrote:That looks like perfect anno
Threw it together quick and took a pic with its older brother.
this is maybe a bit darker than I had hoped. Was kinda looking for the translucency of the original, but I'm cool with it. Looks better than that blotchy gold.gomachv wrote:I like the dark blue, I have a batch that's been waiting to get done for a while- I'm curious to see how our blues compare
